Akshara Kishor, credited as Baby Akshara, is an Indian child actress on television and Film.[1] She is well known for her role as Balachandrika in the series Karuthamuthu on Asianet.[2] In 2014, she made her debut film through Mathai Kuzhappakkaranalla, directed by Akku Akbar.[3]

Early life and career

Akshara was born to Kishor, an architect and Hemaprabha, a bank employee in Kannur. Later they shifted to Eranakulam. She has a sister named Akhila Kishor.[4]

Akshara is well known popular for her role Balachandrika in the tele-serial Karuthamuthu which is being telecast on Asianet channel. Before coming to the limelight, she made her appearance in several advertisements in which the ads Kalayan Silks, Nirapara and Jayalakshmi are much notable. She made her debut to the Malayalam film industry in 2014 through Mathai Kuzhappakkaranalla, which is directed by Akku Akbar.[5] She has appeared in some albums and advertisements also.

Aadupuliyattam (English: The Goat and Tiger Game) is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language horror film directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam, starring Jayaram in the lead role. Fastpath software. The story and screenplay is written by Dinesh Palleth. The major filming locations are Palani and Thodupuzha. Film released on 20 May 2016.

The horror thriller film is dubbed in Tamil as Shenbaga Kottai and Telugu as Mathangi and Hindi as Mera Badla 2.

Achayans

Achayans is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language comedy thriller film directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam and written by Sethu. Starring Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Unni Mukundan, Sanju Sivram, Adil Ibrahim, Sshivada, Anu Sithara, and Amala Paul. Principal photography began in November 2016, with shooting locations being Edakochi and Vagamon. The film was released in India on 19 May 2017.

Badai Bungalow

Badai Bungalow (transl. Bungalow for boasting) is an Indian Malayalam sketch comedy and celebrity talk show hosted by Ramesh Pisharody / Mithun Ramesh/ Kalabhavan Navas , launched on Asianet from 2013 on every Saturday and Sunday at 8.00 pm. Currently the second season of the show airs in every Friday's at 9.30 pm.

It was written and directed by Binu Sadanandan, starring Askar Ali, Aparna Balamurali, Baiju, Dain Davis, Rony David, and Kavya Suresh in the lead roles. Kanal (English: Ember) is a 2015 Indian Malayalam-language thriller road movie, directed by M. Padmakumar and written by S. Suresh Babu. The film stars Mohanlal, Anoop Menon, Atul Kulkarni, Pratap Pothan, Honey Rose, Sheelu Abraham, and Nikita Thukral. The film was produced by Abaam Movies in association with Aashirvad Cinemas. Ouseppachan and Vinu Thomas composed the soundtrack. The principal photography commenced in May 2015 in Kochi and completed in August. Kochi, Hyderabad, Karwar, Goa and Qatar were the filming locations. The film released in India on 22 October 2015.

Karuthamuthu

Karuthamuthu (transl. 'Black pearl') is a 2014 Indian television Malayalam language series, which premiered on 20 October 2014 on Asianet channel. Pradeep Chandran, Rini Raj, Darshana Das and Niya plays the protagonists of the series. It is the second longest running serial in Malayalam television. Karuthamuthu is a spin-off of the Malayalam serial Kumkumapoovu.

Karuthamuthu started off with story of a black skinned lady Karthu, her life tribulations and story with Kishor Satya and Premi Viswanath in the leading cast. Kishor Satya and Akshara Kishor played the lead role of season 2. This season focused on the story of Balamol (daughter of Dr.Balachandran and Karthika). Darshana and Rini plays the lead role in season 3 which dealt with the story of Balamol and Podimol . Season 4 is on air with cast of season 3 which portrays the story of Bala's daughter Muthu played by Baby Kezhiya.

The show is remade in Telugu, Kannada and Tamil as Karthika Deepam, Muddulakshmi and Bharathi Kannamma respectively.

Onnum Onnum Moonu is all based on a fun-talk show being aired on Mazhavil Manorama. The show opens with a song sung by Tomy, and usually closes with a song sung by her along with the guests. The show consists of several talks, mainly about celebrities' upcoming films. It consist of several segments like Rapid Fire, Opinions, Quiz Round, and Tongue Twister in which the winner is given a prize from the show's sponsor. The program combines comedy, celebrity, musical guests and stories from both Tomy and the guests. The program later began to feature audience participation games where prizes are awarded.

The show had once broadcast an episode featuring the Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and actress Deepika Padukone for the promotion of their film Happy New Year. The entire episode were taken at Mumbai.The show started to telecast from 7 April 2013.

Punchirikku Parasparam (English: Smile With Each Other) is a 2015 Indian Malayalam-language short film directed by Hari P. Nair and produced by Ramesh Pisharody. It stars Mohanlal, Renji Panicker, Pearle Maaney, Dharmajan Bolgatty, and Pisharody. There are no dialogues in the film, instead it features musical score composed by Rahul Raj. The film had an initial release on YouTube on 31 October 2015, and was released in social media on 1 November in the day of Kerala Piravi.

Upon release, film received positive reactions. Within two days, it was watched by more than 500000 viewers after it was uploaded on the Facebook page of Radio Me 100.3 FM

Vettah

Vettah (English: Hunt) is a 2016 Indian Malayalam crime thriller film directed and co-produced by Rajesh Pillai. The film stars Manju Warrier, Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith Sukumaran and Sandhya. The script was written by Arunlal Ramachandran with A. V. Anoop co-producing the film. The director, Rajesh Pillai, died on 27 February 2016, the day after the film was released.
